1524 dagen of 4 jaar en 2 maand sinds ik het eerste steekje op de stof zette. Bloed, zweet; tranen maar ook een lach. Momenten dat ik gewoon wou opgeven maar toch heb doorgezet. Ik borduurde er niet elke dag aan van die 1524 dagen. Soms deed ik niks, soms werkte ik aan een ander stuk.
Blad per blad zag ik de tekening verschijnen, de kat die mij aankeek, de maan, de kaars waarbij sommige mensen dachten dat mijn werk in brand stond... De confetti en de eentonige stukken... Maar eindelijk is hij af, mijn eerste HAED.
1524 days or 4 years and 2 months since I did the first stitch on the fabric. Blood, sweat and tear, but also a laugh. Moments I just wanted to give up but still continued. I didn't stitched on it for it on every of those 1524 days. Sometimes I did nothing, other days I worked on another piece.
I saw the image popping up, page by page. The cat who looked me in the eye, the moon, the candle where people tought that my piece was on fire... All the confetti but also the boring one colour parts... But finally it's finished, the first Haed I have ever finished.
